Sire Conrad de Hus was very successful in Belgium at 5* level under Gregory Wathelet, and he still is today under Quinten Judge.

Bala’s dam (Equina II) as well as her granddam (Quina des Bruyères) both jumped at international level. Quina des Bruyères is the full sister of Primo des Bruyères, which is the father of former World Champion Jus de Pomme. She is also the mother of Johny Boy II, till today the recordholder in Mechelen in ‘puissance’ show jumping (2m27!).
